On October 15, 2025, Erik Brunetti signed and approved the first print edition produced at Brand X Editions in Long Island City, New York. The printer’s documentation records the work under the title Untitled. The image derives from a mechanical drawing for Seven-Headed Cobra (Bronze) — a 24-inch cast bronze sculpture based on Brunetti’s registered trademark for the seven-headed snake emblem (U.S. Reg. No. 4,032,100).
Printed in silkscreen in colors on Rives BFK paper (image 12.25 × 9.5 in; sheet 19.5 × 15.25 in), the edition comprises one hundred numbered impressions, twenty artist’s proofs, two printer’s proofs, four museum proofs, and one Bon à Tirer. Printing was supervised by Robert Blanton (publisher) with Alex Mercedes (printer) and Sofia Varieschi (chromist).
Brand X Editions maintains agreements with the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Dallas Museum of Art to donate one print from each series they publish. Accordingly, at least one impression of Untitled (Seven-Headed Cobra Working Proof) will enter each institution’s permanent collection. These gifts are accessioned and not subject to deaccession.
A small number of impressions from the edition will be made available through the Erik Brunetti Foundation for the Arts. Inquiries regarding availability or placement may be directed to the Foundation.
